Teenagers were made to rebel. That's why the school uniform is so unpopular - we are supposed to wear it. Now suppose every school adopted as its uniform sneakers, jeans & T-shirts. Suddenly those would no longer be kewl because they would be what the establisjhment wants us to wear. This would quickly result in a change of the student ensemble of choice. Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Fubu & the rest would be left wondering what hit them! Teachers would be pleasantly suprised to find students strolling into class wearing dress shirts, pants, skirts & blouses! It sounds implausable but it is based on a much respected mental trick called reverse psychology. the herd mentality of students makes them an easy target for something like this.
